The Vignoble des Verdots, located in Conne-de-Labarde, embodies the excellence of a forgotten terroir. Perpetuating traditions while reinventing heritage, this is our commitment to which a team of experts and enthusiasts are dedicated to bringing the Verdots into the light.

Vinification

This range, created in the 90s, is very elegant and will accompany you in your beautiful moments of conviviality. It is made up of wines, partly aged in barrels, to be enjoyed today and kept for a few years, whether red, dry white or Monbazillac. This range is the right balance between finesse and power. Coming from the old vines of the property, this cuvée is made from a blend of 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Its character and density are the results of its aging in different barrels, previously used for great wines, to gain maturity.

Tasting

With a limpid purple color, this cuvée presents a nose with woody and spicy notes of small red and black fruits. Its dense and characterful palate highlights tannins melted by the freshness of this wine and its beautiful balance. Its beautiful length with aromas of mocha and chocolate leads to a finish of Chinese black pepper. Whether you are novice, amateur or epicurean, it will appeal to as many people as possible.

It goes beautifully with duck breast, entrecôte and soft cheeses like Brie, Camembert or Munster.
