Terroir
Domaine de Grimardy is a family estate in the South-West of France. Located in Montazeau in the heart of the exceptional Montravel terroir (clay-limestone with ostras and asterias).
Its winegrowers has been producing organic red and white wines from Montravel and Bergerac since 2013 and has been oriented towards agroecology and agroforestry since March 2021.

Vinification
Natural vinification: Completely destemmed grapes. 11 days of fermentation without sulphites with native yeasts a total of 25 days of maceration. Malolactic fermentation directly after alcoholic fermentation.
Tasting
The Nucléus cuvée reveals a set of aromas of red and black fruits (strawberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant, blackberry, etc.), woody spices with a supple and suave palate. Its fruity character is accompanied by lovely tannins from the grapes and aged in wood for 3 months. A wine full of finesse to accompany a beautiful meal (and an incredible pairing with a chocolate dessert!).
