Terroir
Domaine des Allégrets is located on the AOP Côtes de Duras. The property extends over 19 hectares with varied soils: boulbène, clay, ferrous; on which vines aged from 40 to 115 years continue to age.
Soil: clay-limestone.
Vinification
Manual harvest by successive sorting of botrytized grapes. Delicate pressing. 500L barrel for 14 months.
Tasting
This blend dominated by Sémillon is a real sweet wine as shown by its golden and shiny color, its frank and expressive nose of candied fruits and quince. After a supple attack on aromas of white flower, dried apricot and lychee, the mouth imposes itself by its power; it persists for a long time on candied notes.
